Mike Goodwin is a professional graphic artist for a medical association in Irving, Texas and creates sculpture on his own time. Drawing on his experience in creative arts, Mike’s sculpture takes a serene and life-like glimpse into the human form. He has studied with acclaimed Dallas sculptor Deborah Ballard, and instructors Raul Flores and Marty Ray. Mike is a member of the Creative Arts Center, Clay Arts Association and Texas Sculpture Association. His work is held in private collections. An Arkansas native, Mike grew up in Little Rock and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a minor in Art (emphasis in ceramics) from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia. He completed graduate work at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
